We know, through some studies, that a more active lifestyle contributes positively to our immune capacity, reducing the incidence of bacterial and viral diseases.

With the covid-19 pandemic, physical exercise is a great ally in strengthening the immune system; In this way, gyms end up being considered an essential service for the population! However, we must return to training in the gym as carefully as possible!

We've put together 7 tips for training safely! Check it out below:

1) Sanitize your hands

Wash your hands well, up to the wrists, with soap and water, or sanitize with 70% alcohol gel.

2) Cleaning Kit

Make sure there are cleaning kits at strategic points in the weight training and free weight areas.

3) Use alcohol gel and paper towels to clean the devices you use

You must sanitize them before and after using them, even if the gym has professionals to do this. This care is essential not only for those who do bodybuilding, but also for those who practice gymnastics, dance, yoga, pilates or spinning, for example;

4) Distancing

Maintain a safe distance of 1,5 m from other people!

5) Towels

The use of training towels must be mandatory!

6) Drinking fountains

Drinking fountains must be closed. Take your bottle of water and don't share it with anyone.

7) Time

Each person's stay in the gym should be a maximum of 60 minutes.

It is important not to take risks, although this disease does not have the same harmful effects on those with an active lifestyle, there are always exceptions and we do not want to be the exception to the rule.
