With an athletic body and full of tattoos, Bino is already one of the “brand images” of GREAT I AM! A self-taught bodybuilder and nutritionist, a fervent supporter of iron but who also loves to eat… There is much more behind all the ink that Bino has on his body. Today is the day to make yourself known!

“It’s just one!!!” This is how Albino Rodrigues, “Bino” to his friends, responds when they ask him how many tattoos he has on his body. Today he has more than 90% of his body tattooed and promises not to stop. Bino Rodrigues – The man behind the tattoos! - Great I Am Bino Rodrigues – The man behind the tattoos! - Great I AmBino Rodrigues – The man behind the tattoos! - Great I Am GREAT – Who is Bino? Bino: Bino is disciplined, extroverted, passionate and dreamy. GREAT – And an athlete! It can be seen that you take training seriously and that you are in shape, has fitness always been part of your life? B: Physical exercise has always been a constant in my life, from playing football on the street as a child, to running at night with my father; When I was 16, I started doing bodybuilding with the aim of passing the “Parachute Troops” tests, which came to fruition about 1 and a half years later. GREAT – And that’s when you “specialized” in the most hardcore training… B: Exactly! In the “Special Troops” the training is tough and takes you psychologically and physically to new levels. “If it’s possible, it’s done, if it’s impossible, it will be done” is one of the mottos that has always accompanied me. In short, I did two missions to TIMOR, in which I started to take bodybuilding and nutrition to another level, thanks to a comrade and friend who was a fan of bodybuilding. These factors all together built, in addition to values and discipline, a relationship of love for this “sport” and solidified the foundations of physical activity. GREAT – But we know you like to eat… What is your secret to staying in shape? B: I love eating and I have a very sweet tooth! My secret is to have goals, otherwise I get lost! Ahahah! But the secret always lies in the kitchen! Bino Rodrigues – The man behind the tattoos! - Great I Am GREAT – And the tattoos? At first glance you have tattoos all over your body, tell us how it started. B: It started with a tattoo when I was 14, a little devil in diapers! Ahaha! Then I took the “Parachutist Brevet” before going to TIMOR; but this project really started when I started traveling and getting to know new cultures. It is my story “immortalized” on my skin, my challenges, my achievements, my fears, my philosophy, my LOVE! GREAT – And you already have the tiger of GREAT I AM on body? B: Of course! In 2017 I left Great I Am marked on my skin with the tiger we all know! It was through “him” that doors were opened, friendships were made and experiences were provided. I feel grateful to belong to this family and this will be a way of honoring it, and it will be a pride to carry this “banner”, as for me it represents more than a brand. Then I have another tiger and a Dragon that symbolize YIN-YANG, balance and harmony. Bino Rodrigues – The man behind the tattoos! - Great I Am GREAT – And suddenly… You are one of the brand images of GREAT I AM! How did it start? B: It started as a friendship, which later accompanied us as training partners. At the time we cut the t-shirts to look like the bodybuilders in the magazines…AHAHA!!! I trained in one of the oldest gyms in Porto, known as CREDITS. It lives up to the old school… autographed posters of Ronnie Coleman, Dorian Yates; home athletes in bodybuilding, weightlifting, bench press, deadlift... and of course, lots of iron!!! One day my friend Marco asked me if he could take some photos with two training caves, and that was the day I met GREAT IAM. GREAT – And there isn’t a workout that I don’t use GREAT I AM! B: Let me think… swimming!!!? No! Sorry, I'm lying, it would be true until they released speedos. A GREAT I AM It's part of my day, every day. GREAT – What do you like most about the brand? B I love the design, the comfort, the entire concept that surrounds this brand and above all, it strives for quality. I still have and use the first pieces I photographed. Thank you, Bino!
